Terms of Use

This English text is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using “Koura Diary” (the “App”). By using the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships between the user and the developer concerning use of the App.

Article 2 (Use)

1. The App is intended to assist with keeping care records for tortoises.
2. The user uses the App at their own responsibility.

Article 3 (Accounts)

1. You can start using the App with an anonymous account. To carry over data or share with family, you can link an Apple or Google account.
2. The user is responsible for managing their own account.

Article 4 (Sharing within a Family / Household)

1. The user can create a “household” and share records with other users such as family members.
2. When you share a household, the records, photos, and animal profiles of that household can be viewed and edited by members of the same household. Choose whom to share with at your own discretion and responsibility.

Article 5 (Support Feature / Payments)

1. The App may include an optional payment (tip) feature to support development.
2. Payments are made through your app store, and refunds and the like follow the store’s policies.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

In using the App, the user must not engage in conduct that violates laws or public order and morals, that interferes with the operation of the App, that infringes the rights of other users, or that the developer otherwise deems inappropriate.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. Health and nutrition information shown by the App is a general guide only and is not veterinary care, medical care, or professional nutritional advice. See the Disclaimer for details.
2. The App does not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or usefulness of the storage, display, or synchronization of records. Data may fail to be reflected due to network conditions or service circumstances.
3. The developer bears no liability for any damages incurred by the user as a result of using the App.

Article 8 (Data)

Records and photos entered by the user are stored for the user themselves and for the households they share with. Handling of data follows the Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)

Intellectual property rights in the App and its content belong to the developer or the rightful rights holders.

Article 10 (Changes to the Terms)

The developer may change these Terms without notice to users where deemed necessary. The revised Terms take effect once posted on this page.

Article 11 (Governing Law)

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of Japan.
