Terms of Use

This English text is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using “Kamekoro” (the “App”), provided by the individual developer 7ofu (the “Developer”). By using the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Application

These Terms apply to all relationships between the user and the Developer concerning use of the App.

2. About the App

The App is a reptile-themed feeding puzzle game. Playing the puzzle, recording your personal best, and the collection (“Dex”) can all be used without a network connection.

3. Leaderboard and Nicknames

  1. The App has a leaderboard feature where you post scores and compete with other users. Submitted scores and nicknames are visible to all users.
  2. Users must not include, in a nickname or any other information shown on the leaderboard, content that falls under any of the following:
    • Expressions that are offensive to others, or that are obscene, discriminatory, or violent
    • URLs, contact details such as email addresses, or content intended for advertising or solicitation
    • Content that impersonates a real person or organization, or that could be mistaken for a third party
    • Content that infringes the rights of third parties (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.)
    • Content that violates laws or public order and morals
  3. The App has an automatic filter for nicknames, but this does not guarantee that all inappropriate displays are prevented.
  4. Regardless of whether the automatic filter in the preceding paragraph applies, the Developer may remove from the leaderboard, without prior notice, any nickname or score that the Developer judges to violate this Article. Where the Developer judges the conduct to be malicious, it may also restrict that user’s subsequent submissions.
  5. If you find an inappropriate nickname or the like, please report it via the contact form (category “Report a nickname”) or the contact address at the end of these Terms.

4. Prohibited Conduct

In using the App, the user must not engage in any of the following:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  2. Acts that infringe the rights or interests of third parties
  3. Acts that gain unauthorized access to, or place an excessive load on, the App’s servers or network
  4. Acts that interfere with the operation of the App, or any other act the Developer judges to be inappropriate

5. In-App Purchases

  1. In-app purchases in the App unlock only cosmetic elements that change the game’s appearance (such as skins); they do not affect gameplay advantage or your results.
  2. The purchase and use of in-app purchases are subject to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) and the App Store Terms of Service.
  3. Refunds for purchases are handled through Apple (the App Store), in accordance with its terms and procedures. The Developer cannot issue refunds directly.
  4. Minors should make purchases only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

6. Disclaimer

  1. The App is provided “as is,” without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or availability.
  2. Online features, including the leaderboard, may be changed, suspended, or terminated without prior notice due to maintenance, failures, specification changes, operational circumstances, and the like. The Developer is not liable for any damages arising to users from these.
  3. The Developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App.
  4. However, the disclaimers in the preceding two paragraphs do not apply to damages arising from the Developer’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.

7. Governing Law

The interpretation and application of these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be revised without prior notice. Revised Terms take effect once posted on this page.
